Upgrade from Mold Assessor to Combo Assessor & Remediation Contractor
**Only use this if you have previously purchased a ticket to a Mold Assessor course in Manhattan, NY and need to upgrade to a Mold Combo course. Write in your new class dates below**
Individuals in need of New York State Mold Assessors and Mold Remediation Contractors licenses should take this combo course to get certified for both. If taken separately both courses would be 7 days (Mold Assessor 4 days, Mold Remediation Contractor 3 days). This course shortens the amount of time you spend in the classroom.
This course will lead to two separate certifications as a Mold Assessor and Mold Remediation Contractor. New York State regulations require any individual performing mold assessment and remediation to attend an accredited training program. Upon successful completion of the course, individuals will have to submit an application to New York State Department of Labor Licensing unit to obtain a license.

- Performance of Visual Inspections for Mold
- Measurement Equipment, Moisture Meters, Humidity Meters, Particle Counters, Data-logging, Inspection Equipment
- Writing Strategies for Mold Remediation Plans
This course includes:
- 8 Hands-on activities
- 50-question multiple choice final exam (required by NYS DOL)
- NYS Mold Assessor and Mold Remediation Contractor certification, valid for 2 years
